Kharasaveyskoye field

is a gas and condensate field unique in its reserves, located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area in the north-western part of the Yamal Peninsula, 480 kilometers north of Salekhard. It is part of the Western Siberia gas-bearing province. The field was discovered in 1974, development started in 1975.
